A protocol has been signed for the Elderly and 18+ Disabled Rehabilitation Center project to be built in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, the President of TRNC, Ünal Üstel, the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, and the Chairman of the Board of Fenercioğlu Group, Aycan Fenercioğlu.

A protocol has been signed for the "Yeni Erenköy Elderly and 18+ Disabled Rehabilitation Center" to be built in Cyprus. With the protocol signed between the Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, the President of TRNC, Ünal Üstel, and the Chairman of the Board of Fenercioğlu Group, Aycan Fenercioğlu, project work has officially commenced.

The ceremony, held at the Prime Ministry Honor Hall, was also attended by Turkish Ambassador to Nicosia Yasin Ekrem Serim and Prime Ministry Undersecretary Hüseyin Cahitoğlu. In the opening speech, TRNC President Üstel shared details about the project, emphasizing that it would be realized with significant support from the Republic of Turkey and the private sector.

‘THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED CITIZENS WILL BE COMFORTABLE’

President Üstel stated, “With this meaningful project that we have signed to ensure the comfort of our disabled and elderly citizens in Karpaz, I believe we will provide a valuable service. I would like to thank Fenercioğlu and our esteemed Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, for witnessing this moment with us.”

MINISTER GÖKTAŞ EXPRESSES GRATITUDE

During the signing ceremony, Minister of Family and Social Services of Turkey, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, stated that this project would bring value to the Turkish Cypriot people. She expressed her gratitude to TRNC President Üstel and the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, with whom she had collaborated on multiple projects.

Göktaş also extended her congratulations to Fenercioğlu Group for their contributions to Cyprus and the future of the country.

The “Yeni Erenköy 18+ Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home,” which will be built by Fenercioğlu Group and is planned to be completed within 18 months, will consist of two separate buildings within the same parcel.

Aycan Fenercioğlu, Chairman of the Board of Fenercioğlu Group, who played a major role in bringing this project to life, shared his thoughts:
